Man O’ War comes from AJ Fernandez’s operation in Estelí, Nicaragua, and its bold personality extends well beyond the name. The 6.1 × 54 Torpedo pairs a dark, oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and aged, Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long-fillers. Medium to full-bodied, it opens with assertive spice and wood...

Made Man’s mob-inspired name sets the tone, but the tobacco comes from a very real partnership with Aganorsa in Nicaragua. The Model 870 is a classic 6 × 50 Toro, wearing a leathery Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers. This medium-bodied blend takes a balanced approach, with cedar, floral notes...

Intención is La Gloria Cubana’s return to the bold, straightforward style that helped establish its reputation. Introduced in 2026, the line emphasizes larger ring gauges and a medium-to-full-bodied blend. Handmade at STG Estelí in Nicaragua, the 5 × 54 Gran Robusto combines a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan and Honduran...

Matt Booth created The Big Payback as a thank-you to the supporters who helped build Room101. The Maduro version brings a darker character to that idea, and the compact El Gran Papi Chulo Rothschild puts it into a 4.5 × 50 format. Made in Honduras, it wears a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over the Honduran binder and filler listed in...

Arganese began with real estate developer Gene Arganese’s search for cigars made to his own specifications. That personal project became a business after he purchased a Dominican cigar factory in 2005, although the Habano Robusto featured here is made in Nicaragua. This 5.5 × 50 Robusto combines a dark Nicaraguan Habano wrapper with a...

A celebrated bourbon name sets the stage, but the Colonel E.H. Taylor Corojo delivers its character through tobacco rather than added flavoring. Developed to complement its namesake bourbon, this Dominican-made 5 × 50 Robusto combines an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa and Dominican long-fillers. The...

Macanudo Emissary España takes an unusually international approach, bringing together tobaccos from five countries with Spanish-grown leaf as its defining ingredient. Handmade in Honduras, the 5 × 52 Robusto features a five-year-aged U.S. Broadleaf Claro wrapper over a six-year-aged Nicaraguan Condega binder. Inside, Dominican and...

BLACKENED M81 brings together three collaborators: Metallica’s James Hetfield, master distiller Rob Dietrich, and Drew Estate founder Jonathan Drew. Their shared interest in darker tobaccos resulted in an all-Maduro blend, with Maduro leaves used throughout the wrapper, binder, and filler. Handmade in Nicaragua, the 6 × 52 Toro...

Diesel Wicked makes its intentions clear before the first draw: this is a full-bodied blend with plenty of dark tobacco character. Created by AJ Fernandez and handmade in Nicaragua, the substantial 6.2 × 56 Torpedo combines a thick Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers, including...
