The E.P. Carrillo Essence Series Honduras brings together two major cigar-making families, with Casa Carrillo collaborating with Plasencia to create a blend centered on Honduran tobacco. Despite the name, Nicaragua Cream isn't a mild Connecticut-style cigar. This Nicaraguan handmade uses a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, including both long- and short-filler leaves. The 7.0 x 50 Churchill provides plenty of time for the blend's medium-to-full character to unfold, delivering a...

The Gurkha Black Ops Habano doesn't exactly arrive quietly. Handmade in Nicaragua, the 6.2 x 52 Torpedo wears an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Habano binder and aged Nicaraguan long-fillers, including tobaccos from some of Nicaragua's best-known growing regions. Medium to full-bodied, it delivers deep earth and coffee...

Chateau Real occupies an interesting place in Drew Estate history. The Gran Templar is a 6.0 x 50 Toro handmade in Nicaragua...

The HC Series Shade Grown takes the richer Nicaraguan foundation associated with the HC portfolio and gives it a decidedly gentler presentation. Handmade in Nicaragua, this 5.5 x 50 Robusto is wrapped in Connecticut Shade leaf around Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, producing a mild-to-medium profile built around sweet cream, oak, and...

The Partagas Black Label Bravo has been a mainstay of the darker side of the Partagas portfolio since its introduction in the early 2000s. Rocky Patel created the Sixty line to commemorate his 60th birthday, developing a blend designed around maturity and extended aging. Handmade in Nicaragua, the 6.5 x 52 Toro features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, with the finished cigars aged for a minimum of two additional years after...

The Graycliff 10-Year Vintage Maduro Pirate reflects the richer side of the Graycliff portfolio, using extensively aged tobacco to create a smooth, mature profile rather than relying on strength alone. Romeo y Julieta Media Noche takes the traditionally approachable character of the brand and moves it into darker, richer territory. Cigars International classifies the blend...
