Member of the Month
After receiving many submissions for this month’s member of the month, we had a tough choice in selecting just one letter. Frank has been with us for several years now and apparently has been enjoying the cigars we have been sending.

I love the cigars you have been sending to me! My friends are envious of me when my cigars arrive every month. I can tell when I am about to get them, because they start showing up more often right near the end of the month. I have had to give several of my friends memberships to your club, just so they would stop bummin’ cigars off of me. I work at a custom Harley shop and after coming home after a long day of working on the bikes, I sit back and relax by enjoying a good stogie and some beers. I don’t know which I enjoy doing more – working on the bikes or smoking the stogies! Thanks for the cigars you have been sending me. I have really been enjoying them and I can’t wait for my next shipment.

Featured Cigars
The brand of cigars was first introduced back in 1995, which took more than three years of planning to produce. It is constructed of aged Cuban seed long- leaf Nicaraguan and Dominican long-filler and a beautiful, shade grown Connecticut seed wrapper leaves grown in the famed Jamastran valley of Honduras. Consistently superb construction, medium to full-bodied flavor, and creamy smoke. Astral is a majestic looking cigar, characterized by its consistently great construction and handsome appearance. It is one of the best Honduran cigars on the market. Medium to full-bodied in flavor. The wrapper was very nice and the burn was very even. There was definitely some woody flavor but it comes across smooth.
Don Diego Maduro Robusto
Don Diego is a stellar brand that’s been around since Great Grandma
was just a girl. A best-selling brand from the world’s largest premium
cigar maker – Altadis, USA. Known as the "King of Mild,"
the brand has upheld a strict standard of quality, and the cigars
are superbly constructed to ensure a consistently delicious flavor.
Hand-rolled in La Romana, Dominican Republic, Don Diegos are made
with dark and juicy Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers, Dominican binder,
and a blend of Dominican-grown long fillers. The Don Diego Maduros
are superior quality, and the beautiful dark Connecticut Broadleaf
maduro wrapper adds a slightly spicier and more flavorful taste to
this Dominican smoke. This excellent smoke has a creamy texture and
nice balance. A classic cigar, Don Diego is always a dependable premium
brand.
Flor De Carbonell 1909 Churchill
Flor de Carbonell is a special limited edition vintage version of the regular Carbonell line made in the Dominican Republic. This is a beauty, and it's been aged for over 5 years. A vintage Dominican puro made from leaves all originating from the same farm, it offers an ultra smooth Dominican wrapper and aged all Dominican long-filler. If you enjoy mild cigars with some sweetness, I promise you’ll fall in love with this brand. Quite simply, this is a great-tasting smoke. Rolled in the Dominican Republic since 1907, Carbonells are unique because of their naturally sweet taste. The sweetness comes from the Carbonell sweet leaf, which gives it an incredibly smooth, mild taste and rich aroma. Carbonell is not widely available, but those who try them always stay with the brand. If you like pleasant, mild cigars with a sweet touch, then Carbonell is a must to sample.
Pleiades (pronounced something like ´play-ah-des´) are exquisite cigars imported from the Dominican Republic. It is a legitimately outstanding premium cigar. It is produced by one of the largest cigar producers in the US. Altadis U.S.A. sells over 2 billion cigars a year and owns about 40% of the market share in the US. Pleiades is a gorgeous-looking cigar that are created by hand using only the finest long leaf filler and smooth Connecticut Shade wrappers. Depending on the selection from the eleven available shapes, the richness, quality of taste and aroma will vary from mild and light to a bold, full-bodied flavor. Very smooth, mild flavor and unobtrusive taste, but with a rich aroma.
Santa Damiana is a mild-tasting smooth cigar with light, shade-grown wrappers from Connecticut, Mexican binders and Dominican and Mexican filler. Not to be confused with the Connecticut shade Santa Damiana or the Cabinet Selection, this Santa Damiana is rolled with Habana 2000 wrappers, Nicaraguan binders and a complex long leaf blend of Dominican, Brazilian and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The wrapper is a smooth, reddish-brown leaf created by crossing Connecticut shade with Cuban-seed tobacco. The Nicaraguan binder is draped around the blend of Dominican and Brazilian grown long filler tobaccos. Together the result full-bodied yet very smooth smoke. A great looking cigar.

Q: What should I do if I'm moving or want to extend
my membership?
A: Please call us prior to the 10 th of the month to
make all account related information changes such as address changes,
membership extensions & terminations, or gift accounts desiring
to continue their memberships. Address changes made after that time
may require a $4.00 re-shipping charge.
Q: How will the charge appear on my credit card statement:
A: Your credit card statement will reflect our Incorporated
business name, C&H Clubs, U.S.A., Inc., NOT The Cigar Society.
Q: What happens if my shipment is damaged?
A: If you shipment arrives damaged, please call us immediately
toll free at 1-800-625-8238 and report the incident for a prompt resolution.
Q: What happens if my credit card is declined?
A: We will attempt to reprocess the card and if it does not
clear on the 2nd attempt, you’ll receive a courtesy notice
asking for an alternative payment method and your order will be temporarily
suspended until we hear from you. As we incur a $ 2.00 re-processing
fee each time your card does not clear, that charge is passed on to
you.
Q: What happens if I join under a special incentive program
and don’t stay a member for the entire term committed?
A: Not a problem. Although we want to do everything we can
to keep you as a member, we will allow you to cancel your subscription
early, however, you will be responsible to pay for the item which
was given to you as part of the promotion.
