Handmade in Honduras, the 6.5 x 54 Torpedo wears an oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper over a Honduran binder and aged Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers. Cigars International describes the blend as medium-bodied, with rich cedar, cocoa, cream, and earth among its defining flavors. The center of the Honduran cigar industry is the city of Danli and the nearby Jamastran Valley. The majority of the world’s pure Corojo tobacco is grown here, now that Cuba has stopped production of this iconic, spicy, and rich variety in favor of Corojo hybrids.
